Youth Residential Recovery - RN - Lakewood
Job Description
WSi is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for an amazing youth residential recovery facility in Lakewood, CO! The RN will provide direct care and medication administration to youth ages 13 to 18.5, with the possibility of helping out on the adult side if needed.
Position Details:
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 5 eight-hour day shifts.
- On-call may be required for night or weekend shifts occasionally
$70,000 - $90,000 yearly salary, with a $7500 sign-on bonus (paid out in 3 increments at 1 month, 6 months, and 1 year of employment)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care, nursing services, and medication administration to residents as per program regulations and individual treatment plans, including the collection of medical specimens.
- Conduct patient assessments for new admissions.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, documenting all medications received and/or refused.
- Prepare discharge summaries and instructions- encompassing medication management, interpretation of laboratory results, follow-up provider appointments, and other relevant information. Communicate these discharge instructions to parents/guardians and address any questions they may have.

Job Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited nursing school and hold a current Colorado or compact RN license.
- Must possess and maintain current BLS certification.
- SUD experience required (substance use disorder nursing)
- Experience with youth population preferred
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Avatar, is preferred but not required.
Credentialing requirements: Clean background and drug screen, Fingerprinting, TRAILS, and CAPS check.
