Registered Nurse – Psych
Job Description
I’m partnering with a well-established state inpatient psychiatric hospital in Denver to help them hire dedicated RNs who are passionate about mental health and making a meaningful impact.
About the Role:
-
On-site opportunity in a 138-bed adult inpatient facility
-
Serve patients ages 18–59 with serious and persistent mental illness (civil & forensic populations)
-
Provide direct psychiatric and medical nursing care in a structured, therapeutic setting
-
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to support recovery goals
-
Lead and participate in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and emergency response
-
Administer and monitor medications, evaluating effectiveness and side effects
-
Facilitate patient education, psychoeducational groups, and skill-building interventions
This is a strong fit for an RN who values teamwork, leadership, and recovery-focused care in a structured inpatient environment.

Job Requirements
What They’re Looking For:

Active Colorado RN license (or compact state)
- Can pass a background check and drug screen

At least 21 years of age

Ability to work varied shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays as needed)

Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license
-
Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting
