A retail pharmacy tech, also known as a pharmacy technician, works at a drugstore where walk-in clients or patients are served directly. As a Retail Pharmacy Technician at our location, you will play an important part in the day-to-day operations, ensuring that our clients receive the finest service and care possible. As a pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of pharmaceuticals in healthcare facilities with a retail or public-facing component. Work as part of a pharmacy team, assisting pharmacists with drug distribution, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.

Must Be bilingual! English and  Spanish Speaking! 

Must be have PTCB, CPhT

Key Responsibilities:

• Medication Dispensing:
  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications based on prescription orders, ensuring proper dosage, labeling, and packaging.
  • Verify medication orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prescription Filling

  • Inventory Management
• Medication Inventory Management:
  • Monitor medication stock levels and assist in maintaining appropriate inventory.
  • Perform routine inventory checks and reorder supplies as needed.
• Pharmacy Record Keeping:
  • Maintain patient records and prescription files in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
• Quality Control:
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and safety of dispensed medications.
  • Report any discrepancies or errors to the pharmacist.
• Pharmacy Compliance:
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist in the documentation and reporting of controlled substance transactions.
  • Insurance Claim Processing
