Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
CBD Compounding Pharmacy
Watkins, Colorado
Our agency is partnering with a growing, well-established compounding mail order pharmacy to identify a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for their specialized 503A CBD only pharmacy in Watkins, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist seeking a part-time leadership role within a collaborative, mission-driven organization.
The pharmacy operates with a small, close-knit team and focuses exclusively on tincture-based prescriptions, creating a streamlined and highly specialized practice environment.
Schedule

24 hours per week onsite in Watkins, CO
-
16 hours per week on-call, supporting pharmacist support requirements for additional states
Key Responsibilities

Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with Colorado Board of Pharmacy regulations and applicable multi-state requirements

Oversee daily pharmacy operations, compounding standards, and quality control

Supervise and support pharmacy staff

Ensure accurate preparation, dispensing, and documentation of tincture-based compounds

Maintain SOPs, policies, and regulatory documentation

Act as pharmacist of record for additional states as required

Partner with ownership and leadership on operational best practices

Qualifications

Active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing

Eligible to serve as Pharmacist in Charge

Compounding pharmacy experience preferred

Prior experience or strong interest in alternative or integrative treatment modalities highly desirable

Strong regulatory, organizational, and leadership skills

Comfortable working in a small-team environment
