Thornton, CO | 54-Bed Critical Care Facility
Looking for an exciting, fast-paced nursing opportunity where you can make a real impact? WSi Healthcare is hiring PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a 54-bed Critical Care Facility in Thornton, CO. This hospital specializes in complex medical cases, including trauma, stroke recovery, ventilator weaning, and infectious diseases. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, including IV antibiotics, insulin, and IV push meds
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and wound-vac management
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and ADLs
- Conduct trach suctioning, ventilator care (with RT support), and airway management
- Manage intake/output for tube feeds and TPN
- Ensure proper PPE use for isolation patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient recovery

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Colorado
- BLS & ACLS certification required
- Acute care experience required
- Experience with ventilated patients & central lines
- Proficiency in electronic health records
- Familiarity with TPN, chest tubes, blood transfusions, PEG tubes, JP drains, Foleys, IV antibiotics/drips
- Ability to manage 3-6 patients per shift (acuity-dependent)
