Job Description
Local Only | Stable Hours | Competitive Pay DOE with Differentials | W2 Position
WSi Healthcare is building a pool of skilled and dependable Registered Nurses to support medical services within county jail settings throughout Arizona. These are pipeline roles as we prepare for upcoming correctional healthcare needs, offering meaningful work, steady scheduling, and strong clinical experience.

What You’ll Do
- Perform nursing assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Provide triage, sick call, medication administration, and chronic care support
- Respond to urgent or emergent medical situations
- Assist with intake evaluations and ongoing patient monitoring
- Document all care accurately in the electronic health record
- Communicate effectively with custody staff and fellow medical team members
- Provide education and support to patients as needed
Float Requirements
- RNs must be willing to float between jail clinic locations
- Must follow required process: clock out → travel → clock in at the next site
- Up to 15 minutes of float travel time is paid
- Mileage or commute reimbursement is not included per county policy

- Must complete a minimum of 4 shifts per 28-day schedule cycle

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license (AZ or Compact)
- AHA BLS certification with hands-on skills check
- Ability to pass multiple background checks, fingerprinting, and jail security clearances
- Current TB test, and required immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hep B or declination)
- Annual N95 fit test
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (ER, med-surg, corrections, psych, ICU, or similar)
- Able to perform CPR, lift up to 35 lbs, climb stairs, and respond quickly to emergencies
- Must be local — no travel stipends or housing assistance provided
