We’re hiring a sharp, experienced Registered Nurse for a day shift, 8-week contract at a privately run correctional facility in Cushing, Oklahoma. This isn’t a travel role—it’s for dedicated RNs living 70 miles or more from the facility who want to take on meaningful work with solid pay and stability.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing hands-on nursing care in a secure adult correctional setting

Managing assessments, medications, urgent situations, and care planning

Collaborating with a team of LPNs and support staff to deliver high-quality care
Assignment Snapshot

Shift: Day shift, full-time (36 hours/week)

Contract Length: 8 weeks to start, renewable up to 6 months

Start Timeline: Approximately 2–3 weeks (background check required; U.S. citizenship mandatory)

Location Requirement: Must live at least 70 miles from Cushing, OK

Rehire Policy: Must observe a 6-month break after completing a full 6-month contract
Who We're Looking For

Active RN license (unencumbered)

Minimum 1 year of experience in Corrections, Med/Surg, Telemetry, or direct care

Confident, capable, and comfortable working in a structured, high-responsibility setting

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Active Oklahoma nursing license (no disciplinary action).
- Current American Heart BLS certification.
- Available to start within 2 weeks (no RTO or exceptions).
- Not on the Do Not Return list, and no prior employment or applications with the facility in the last 6 months.
- Ability to Pass a Background check and drug screen through WSi Healthcare Personnel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
