We’re hiring an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift contract in Cushing, Oklahoma at a local correctional facility. This isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to grow your skills, help an underserved population, and enjoy the stability of a renewable contract.

Assignment Snapshot:

Shift: Night shift (36 hours/week guaranteed)
-
Length: 8 weeks to start – renewable up to 6 months

Start Time: Approximately 2-3 weeks (background clearance required; U.S. citizenship needed)

Cooling-Off Rule: 6 months between extended assignments

What You’ll Be Doing:
-
Providing hands-on patient care in an adult correctional setting
-
Administering medications, assisting with procedures, and handling urgent medical needs
-
Putting your Corrections, Med/Surg, Telemetry, or direct care experience to powerful use in a secure, team-driven environment

We’re Looking for LPNs Who:
-
Hold an active LPN license
-
Have at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
-
Are calm under pressure, adaptable, and passionate about serving others

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Active Oklahoma nursing license (no disciplinary action).
- Current American Heart BLS certification.
- Available to start within 2 weeks (no RTO or exceptions).
- Not on the Do Not Return list, and no prior employment or applications with the facility in the last 6 months.
- Ability to Pass a Background check and drug screen through WSi Healthcare Personnel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
