Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Instructor – 6–9 Month Contract
Job Description
We’re partnering with a well-respected healthcare organization in the Denver metro area to bring on a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for a 6–9 month contract assignment, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is a unique opportunity to step into a full-scope midwifery practice within a collaborative, patient-centered environment that blends clinical care with education and mentorship.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide full-scope midwifery care (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care)

Support patients in both outpatient clinic and inpatient settings
-
Participate in labor & delivery, including alternative birth options such as water birth
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across a large medical campus
-
Educate and support students, residents, and other healthcare learners

6–9 month contract with strong potential for permanent placement

Full-time, onsite position in Aurora, CO

Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
-
Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Master’s degree in midwifery from an accredited institution of higher education
-
Active AMCB certification
-
RN, APN, and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain Colorado licensure prior to start)
-
Experience providing full-scope midwifery care
-
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment
-
Passion for patient-centered, holistic care
Preferred:
-
Experience with water birth or alternative labor/birth options
-
Background in high-volume or higher-acuity settings
-
Prior experience working with students or in an academic/teaching environment
