Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health
Job Description
WSI Healthcare is partnering with a leading behavioral health facility to find an experienced Registered Nurse for their Psych/Behavioral Health Stabilization Unit. This is a temporary contract position with the option to transition into a permanent role. Position Details:

Urgent Need: Night Nurse
-
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
-
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, with flexibility on which days
What You’ll Do:
-
Complete nursing assessments and screenings for new admissions (including COVID-19 testing as needed)
-
Carry out physician/prescriber orders and communicate critical patient care updates
-
Document clear, concise notes in the EMR
-
Administer medications and injections, monitor patient conditions, and provide interventions within scope of practice
-
Support treatment planning and provide patient education on medications and self-administration
-
Collaborate with outside agencies to ensure continuity of care
-
Assist with crisis intervention and provide case management as appropriate

Maintain compliance with licensure, training, and organizational standards

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Active State of Colorado RN license (required)
-
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
-
At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience

Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, crisis-oriented environment
