Fort Logan | Denver, CO | 13-Week Contract | 12-Hour Shifts
Earn $30 per hour in a 13-week CNA contract at Fort Logan. WSi Healthcare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant with at least one full year of recent inpatient psychiatric experience.
Inpatient psychiatric experience is required. General CNA, assisted living, home health, or skilled nursing experience alone will not meet this requirement. Previous corrections or state hospital experience is highly preferred.

Job Requirements
Required Experience and Qualifications
-
At least one year of previous inpatient psychiatric experience is required
-
Active Colorado CNA certification
-
Corrections or state hospital experience is highly preferred
-
Experience supporting patients with acute mental health or behavioral needs
-
Strong observation, communication, and de-escalation skills
-
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and remain calm during challenging situations
-
Ability to complete all WSi and facility compliance requirements
****Candidates without at least one year of inpatient psychiatric experience will not be considered for this assignment.****
What You’ll Do

Assist patients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities

Help maintain a safe, respectful, and structured environment

Observe and report changes in patient behavior or condition

Work closely with nurses and psychiatric care professionals

Use effective communication and de-escalation techniques

Follow all documentation, safety, and patient-care procedures
Previous Fort Logan or CMHHIP Contractors
Previous employment or contract assignments at Fort Logan or the Colorado Mental Health Hospital in Pueblo (CMHHIP) will be verified. All previous assignments must have ended in good standing for the candidate to be considered.
