As a Medical Scheduler at WSi, you will play a crucial role in coordinating appointments, pre-registration, and verifying insurance eligibility through our advanced computer systems. Your precision and care will guide patients through insurance details, referrals, and appointment instructions.
*A minimum of 6 months of recent medical experience is required*
Location: Denver, CO (*This position is open only to local Colorado residents*)
Compensation: $20-$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday - No Weekends! *This position is fully in-person*
Key Responsibilities of the Medical Scheduler:
- Answering and triaging calls
- Scheduling appointments efficiently
- Adjusting the clinic schedule as directed by the supervisor
- Contacting patients to schedule or reschedule appointments promptly
- Ensuring the prevention of double-booking procedures
- Preparing and mailing patient itineraries or notices as necessary
- Pre-registering outpatients for clinical and diagnostic services
- Completing pre-registration and pre-admission questionnaires
- Verifying insurance details

Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- At least 1 year of experience in hospital admissions/registration or physician’s office
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- We perform a background check
