WSi Healthcare is looking for a warm and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Highlands Ranch, CO. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll provide exceptional customer support and ensure our reception area runs smoothly. Location: Highlands Ranch, CO (Colorado Applicants Only)
*This position is fully in-person*
Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors, directing questions to the appropriate staff.
- Schedule provider appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and efficient use of exam and treatment rooms.
- Collect co-pays and other payments from patients.
- Reconcile cash/check payment receipts from the EHR with cash on hand at the end of each shift.
- Collect patient ID and necessary information for appointments.
- Retrieve patient files, sequence paperwork, add new patient record forms, and prepare files for physician examination or treatment.
- Maintain the reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Assist patients with insurance papers and billing questions.
- Support ill or distressed patients as needed, including arranging transportation.
- Participate in the medical office emergency routine when required, and call EMS or assist other staff members as needed.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Recent experience six (6) months as a medical receptionist
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Available to work full time, in person
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus
