You will play a crucial role in obtaining insurance pre-approvals for medical procedures, tests, medications, and other healthcare services. You’ll enjoy working closely with our healthcare team, patients, and insurance companies to ensure the authorization process is completed accurately and efficiently. *6 months of recent medical experience required*
Location: Denver, CO *This is a local Colorado position Only*
Prior Authorization Specialist Responsibilities:
- Review and process prior authorization requests
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to gather required information
- Follow up on pending or denied prior authorization requests, providing additional information and appealing denials when necessary
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits
- Strong knowledge of health insurance and prior authorization processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with EMR and insurance databases
Pay: $21-$25/ hour
Schedule: M-F - No Weekends!

Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- At least 1 year of experience in hospital admissions/registration or physician’s office
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- We perform a background check
