**Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma required**

Pay: $19-23/ hour

Schedule:  Full-time. This position includes a mix of day shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), evening shifts (10:00 AM – 8:00 PM), and one weekend per month (Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM). When working a weekend, the employee will receive one scheduled day off during the week before and one scheduled day off during the week after the weekend worked.

Job Duties:

  • Room patients, take vital signs, and document medical history and symptoms

  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and in-office treatments

  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed

  • Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., strep, flu, COVID-19, urinalysis)

  • Complete EKGs, wound care, and basic splinting when needed

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR

  • Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for use

Job Requirements

  • Must have a Medical Assistant diploma OR certification.
  • Must have recent experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Must have two (2) great manager or supervisor references. 
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen. 
  • Must have a current American Heart Association-approved CPR Health care Provider Card. 
  • Must have proof of current TB placed within the past 12 months.
  • Proof of current Covid Vaccine
