Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. This role requires a motivated individual with strong clinical and administrative skills to support our providers and ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Take and record vital signs, medical history, and update electronic health records (EHR).
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and instruments for patient visits.
- Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and conduct basic lab tests as needed.
- Assist with prescription refills, prior authorizations, and patient education.
- Schedule appointments, handle patient inquiries, and coordinate referrals.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support clinic operations, including inventory management and stocking supplies.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a Gastro Outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
