Medical Assistant - Spanish Fluency
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant with Spanish language fluency to join our Flagstaff specialty practice.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and supporting our specialists and health care professionals. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:

Take the patient's vital signs and medical history, greet them, and check them in.

Help medical professionals, including doctors, with patient examinations and procedures.

Make all necessary appointments, tests, and procedures.

Inform patients about their illness and the course of treatment.

Make sure that medical records are properly documented.

Ensure that the surroundings for patients and employees are tidy and safe.

As needed, float to different locations; mileage will be reimbursed.

Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the practice's emphasis on diversity and expansion.

An advantage is having experience examining fistulas and working with dialysis patients.

Job Requirements
- Must have a Medical Assistant diploma OR certification.
- Must have recent experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Must have two (2) great manager or supervisor references.
- Must have EMR experience.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Spanish Fluency
- Ability to travel
- Must have a current American Heart Association approved CPR Healthcare Provider Card.
