Responsibilities:
- Ready patients for tests and procedures
- Give injections and medications as prescribed by medical professionals
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Help medical professionals treat and care for patients
- Take and document vital signs, such as temperature and blood pressure
- Conduct routine laboratory procedures, including blood and urine tests.
- Assist in patient education and offer support and guidance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program
- Certification as a medical assistant (CMA) preferred
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
