Medical Assistant (MA) - Family Medicine
Job Description
WSi is seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to join a fantastic family practice team!
If you have at least 2+ years of recent family practice experience, enjoy delivering high-quality patient care, and are familiar with Nextgen (a plus, but not required), this is the position for you!
The ideal candidate is an MA dedicated to providing outstanding hands-on patient care while making patients feel secure and at ease. You'll work alongside a physician and a team of professionals committed to enhancing patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- Monday: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: Off (after 90-day probation)
- Wednesday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (1 Saturday every 6-8 weeks)
Hours: 36-40 per week
MA Job Duties:
- Provide patient care and document appropriately
- Take vitals and perform charting
- Assist with IV infusion therapy and oncology treatments
- Draw blood, collect samples, and prepare specimens
- Sterilize equipment
- Administer medication therapies
Pay & Benefits:
- $20-23/hour
- Excellent benefits package
- No weekends except occasional Saturday

Job Requirements
- Must have a Medical Assistant diploma OR certification.
- Must have recent experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Must have two (2) great manager or supervisor references.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have a current American Heart Association approved CPR Health care Provider Card.
- Must have proof of current TB placed within the past 12 months.
- Proof of current Covid Vaccine
