Basic Duties:
- Performs MRI scans on individuals of all ages with excellent customer service
- Utilizes MRI technology in various locations, such as the Radiology Department and Imaging Center
- Explains procedures to patients, answers questions, and ensures their comfort
- Prioritizes patient safety by carefully positioning and evaluating implanted devices
- Adjusts machine settings based on expertise and guidelines
- Assists the Radiologist when required
- Utilizes computer software regularly
- Prepares, positions, and transfers patients as necessary

Job Requirements
Experience/Education
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (associate's or bachelor's degree).
- Certification or licensure, such as from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in the United States.
- Licensure by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) for Radiologic Technologist (LRT) is preferred.
- CPR certification/BLS
- AART license
- MRI license
- Availability to pass a drug screen and background check.
