WSi Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 8–12 week contract at a mental health and detox facility, starting late March / early April.

Position Details

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Setting: Mental Health / Detox Facility

Contract Length: 8–12 weeks

Start Date: End of March / Beginning of April

Schedule: 3 twelve-hour night shifts (flexible nights)
Responsibilities
-
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute mental health or substance use–related needs
-
Perform patient assessments, monitor withdrawal symptoms, and administer medications per facility protocols

Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary behavioral health teams, including providers, therapists, and support staff

Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation while maintaining a safe and supportive environment

Accurately document patient care in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care and patient progress

Active LPN license in the state of Colorado.

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a mental health specialty.
