Your Day-to-Day Could Include:

Conducting patient assessments and implementing care plans

Managing medication administration (volume depends on facility)

Responding to emergencies and supporting urgent care needs

Collaborating with healthcare and correctional teams

Maintaining accurate documentation in a structured, secure setting

Job Requirements
Qualifications – What We’re Looking For:

Active & Unencumbered RN License – Must be valid in Colorado or an eNLC state, with no disciplinary actions.

CPR Certification (AHA) – Need one? We can help you get certified.

Clean Background Check & Drug Screen – Required for CDOC clearance.
-
4-Day Defensive Tactics Training – Paid training held in Colorado Springs (physical participation required).
-
Strong Clinical & Critical Thinking Skills – Experience in high-pressure environments preferred (ER/corrections a big plus).

Excellent Communication & Teamwork – Collaboration with custody staff and fellow nurses is key.

Schedule Flexibility – Must be willing to work 12 to 13-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
