Pack your stethoscope and your sense of adventure! Join us for a 13-week contract in historic Leavenworth, Kansas, home of the First City of Kansas and the starting point of the Western Expansion. Make a real impact as a Correctional Nurse at the ICE facility, serving an underserved population while gaining hands-on experience. Choose day or night shifts and enjoy block scheduling that gives you time to explore the area on your days off.
As an RN, you’ll provide patient care, complete medline passes, address public health needs, and work closely with providers to deliver comprehensive care. You’ll need compassion, professionalism, and the ability to handle challenging situations while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements & Benefits:

Must live 70 miles or more from the facility to qualify

No correctional experience required—RNs from all specialties welcome

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Unencumbered RN Nursing license from KS or Compact state
- BLS must be American Heart Association
- One year of professional nursing experience is preferred.
- Ability to Pass a Background check and drug screen through WSi Healthcare Personnel
- Must be 70 miles or more from your home to facility to qualify
