Part-Time Pharmacist – Compounding Pharmacy (Closed-Door) – Watkins, CO

Are you a licensed Pharmacist looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity in a growing pharmacy? Our startup, closed-door compounding pharmacy in Watkins, CO, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team for 10-15 hours per week.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Part-Time Pharmacist

  • Location: Watkins, CO (Closed-Door Facility)

  • Schedule: Flexible part-time hours (to be discussed)

  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience $58-60 an hour

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify compounded medications in accordance with USP guidelines and state/federal regulations

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with all prescriptions and formulations

  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain quality control

  • Maintain patient safety and uphold best practices in compounding

  • Keep accurate records and documentation per regulatory requirements

  • Assist in inventory management and compliance reporting

Requirements:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Colorado (active and in good standing)

  • Compounding experience 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

  • Ability to work in a small team-oriented, closed-door environment

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Must have a college degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD).
  • Must pass the NABLEX.
  • Must pass the State Law Board.
  • Must hold a valid state license.
  • Must complete continuing education hours as required by law.
  • Ability to readily adapt to changes in schedule specifications and work priorities as the business and customer needs demand.
  • Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
  • Must complete all required state, federal, and company training programs (ie. HIPAA, Fraud Waste and Abuse, I-pledge, etc.)
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background Check.
  • CPR certified through the American Heart Association.

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Pharmacy: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in Colorado (Required)
