Job Description

 

Clinical Mental Health Director Needed!  For a full-time position working in a safe relaxing environment! 

Are you a licensed clinical professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for empowering teams to provide excellent behavioral health care? We’re looking for a Clinical Mental Health Director to lead and support our clinical staff, ensure quality care, and oversee the development of effective, evidence-based programming. This individual needs to have their LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license.    

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of licensed clinicians and interns

  • Ensure efficient clinical scheduling and staff caseloads

  • Provide direct clinical services, including assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention

  • Facilitate clinical team meetings, training, and case reviews

  • Oversee quality assurance through audits, supervision, and outcome tracking

  • Collaborate with the leadership team on program development and continuous improvement

  • Support and guide non-clinical staff on therapeutic approaches

  • Develop and maintain strong community partnerships and referral networks

  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of clinical staff

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements

  • Proficient with Google Workspace and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

  • Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

  • Commitment to cultural competence and diversity

  • Ability to analyze data and use it to improve services and outcomes

Job Requirements

  • Requirements

    Education:

    • Master’s or Doctoral degree in a clinical behavioral health-related field

    Licensure/Certification:

    • Current Colorado license as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT

    • Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) or Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) — or actively pursuing

    • EMDR certified or willing to become certified within 1 year

    • Current BLS CPR

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting
