Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Home Health
Job Description
The Role
The Assistant Director of Nursing supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff development across the agency.
Responsibilities

Support daily clinical operations and quality of care

Assist with compliance (CMS, Medicare CoPs, OASIS)

Participate in QAPI and performance improvement initiatives
-
Help manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and training

Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff
-
Serve as Acting DON as needed
Compensation & Benefits

$95,000–$105,000 base + annual bonus

Job Requirements
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in CO state in good standing.
- Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience; home health experience required.
- 2+ years previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong understanding of home health regulations, OASIS requirements, and Medicare guidelines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.
- Previous experience with clinical operations strongly preferred
