Addiction Recovery - Counselor Position

Job Description
WSi is recruiting for a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor who is dedicated to helping individuals on their recovery journey.
We seek an LCDC-I or LCDC for a Counselor position to work with knowledgeable and experienced staff for an inpatient recovery facility. The successful candidate will work assessing and monitoring client behavior within the facility's residential, detoxification, and therapeutic programs.
Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor client behavior.
- Document client behavior, group participation, and counseling.
- Provide care for clients, coordinate treatment, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director to ensure that all services are being delivered to the facility's standards.
- Provide crisis management, group therapies, education for clients and families, and referrals in the transition of care.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES:
- LCDC-I or LCDC Texas License.
- Advanced knowledge of the 12-step treatment model and its application in residential treatment.
- Texas State Driver’s License.
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA regulations and CFR 42 requirements.
- Knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment practices.
- Strong clinically ethical standards.
- Current CPR.
- Current TB test.
- Drug Screen/Background Check.
