Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a corrections facility are as follows:
- Evaluate patient care and determine specific patient needs
- Document patient plan of care
- Monitor the patient environment for safety
- Medication Distribution
- Develop a professional and courteous relationship with the facility
- Wound Care
- Clinic Assessment
- Other RN Registered Nurse duties may be assigned
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state in which you work, or a valid compact state nurse license
- Current American Red Cross CPR Certificate
- Able to pass background check and drug screen
