Hybrid Director of Nursing (DON) - Pediatric Home Health - RN
Job Description
WSi Healthcare is seeking a passionate, organized RN for a Director of Nursing role at a Home Health Care Facility in the Denver area.
In this role, you'll enjoy a blend of direct interaction with staff and families along with the option for remote work flexibility (approximately 60% on-site presence). As the Director of Nursing, you'll play a vital role in overseeing and expanding the team of RNs, establishing robust operational practices, and shaping clinical guidelines to improve family satisfaction and optimize operations, all while upholding the highest standards of care.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must be a RN with at least 3+ years of nursing/care experience and licensed in the state of Colorado (or have a compact license).
- Must have 1-2 years of supervisory and management experience or health service administration experience in a home health atmosphere.
- Must reside in Colorado, preferably in the Denver area, with a valid driver's license.
Job Requirements:
- Home Health Experience: Strong background in home health care, with a practical understanding of regulations and patient care.
- Family CNA Program Knowledge: Familiarity with the Family CNA Program (including PATs).
- Familiarity with OASIS: Experience with OASIS documentation and processes.
- Accreditation & Survey Knowledge: Familiarity with CHAP or other state survey protocols.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership in a home healthcare setting.
- IHSS Program Awareness: Ideal candidates will have knowledge of the IHSS program and how it integrates with home health care.
